About

Who am I?

I’m Prepping Medically, and it’s awesome to meet you. I’m an ER nurse, a prepper, and a blogger. I love to explore outdoors, and learn new ways to ensure everyone I care about are protected and medically cared for in every situation. I’ve taken multiple wilderness first aid courses, and I experiment with my medicinal herb garden throughout the year.

The main goal I have for this blog is to encourage readers to learn to be prepared for medical issues, especially when you are unable to get to a medical professional. These situations arise everyday, from a snow storm to an injury while hiking. I just want to help my readers understand that every little thing you prepare is good, and it doesn’t need to be an arduous task. Prepping is not about worrying or fretting for the end of the world. It’s all about having the things you need for the eventualities of life, and hoping that you never need to use them.

Registered Nurse

I’m a Registered Nurse, and have been for more than 5 years. I current work at a Regional Hospital in the Emergency Department. Prior to this, I worked in multiple different care areas.

Prepper

I’ve been prepping for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a rural area, and bad weather was a normal part of life. I learned from a young age that you had to have extra supplies for the “just in case” situations of life.

Blogger

I have always enjoyed writing, and have been doing so in journals and notebooks for years. To be honest, this is my first published blog, so please bear with me while I work out some of the bugs.
